The Life Emergency Kit

After many mishaps over the years, I have learned that it’s so much better to be prepared. I am a MEGA klutz so I’m constantly staining, ripping, tripping, etc. etc…So I never leave home without my “Life Emergency Kit!” Keeping one in your day bag or car is a great habit to get into.   You will find that it will make your life so much more convenient and probably save you from some pretty embarrassing situations.

These are the things mine include:
  1. Tissues - rescues you from runny noses, drippy messes, & empty rolls in public toilets
  2. Wet wipes – great for cleaning up sticky messes and freshening up
  3. Tide-To-Go Pen – because I spill everything on myself
  4. Bandaids – shoe blisters come out of nowhere!
  5. Anti-bacterial gel – never eat with dirty hands
  6. Perfume/body splash – in an atomizer or a sample for portability.  Great for freshening up or going from day to night.
  7. Josie Maran Infinity Argan Oil Cream – versatile product for dry skin, frizzy hair, chapped lips, etc…the uses are endless
  8. Eye drops – I wear contacts regularly so this is a MUST.
  9. Bobby pins & hair ties – makes your rebellious 'doo cooperate
  10. External battery – no outlet? no problem.
  11. Listerine strips/gum/floss – gotta keep that breath fresh
  12. Lady hygiene – NEVER get caught off guard again
  13. Safety pins – Life saver in many cases
  14. Advil – from headaches to cramps to soreness and everything in between, this always saves the day
  15. Nail Cutter/File - for when your mani got you snaggin'
I keep all of this in a sealed pouch.  This makes it super easy for a Style Chameleon like me when I am switching between purses.

Tailor your kit to your lifestyle and needs.  Try to think of versatile items/products you can use for different purposes to decrease the number of items you carry with you.  Carrying one is a good habit to get into because it's always better to be prepared no matter what adventure you are on!

What do you keep in your kit?
