My mother made the juicy turkey, stuffing, & honey baked ham all from scratch! YUM. Our family brought some cheese-encrusted baked linguine and fried porkchops. nom nom nom! And for dessert I busted out my moist carrot cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. I made it with less than half the sugar listed in the recipe! Inbetweenie snacks (between lunch and dinner) we had some spinach dip in wonton baskets & some cream puffs.

Obviously we weren't really in diet mode but that's ok. Feasts like these are few and far between. Enjoy every morsel just don't go overboard. Remember, everything in moderation!
Now on to my Thanksgiving style! I got cozy this weekend. I wore the hell outta this open knitted cardigan I got from H&M last year.
Mixing textures really raises the level of sophistication of your simplest outfits. I really love styling leather leggings with knits and furs. Colored leather leggings adds that unexpected pop of color. I paired these shearling cuff booties to add a little more coziness to the outfit.

Same outfit, different shoes and jacket combo. Simple changes can really shake up an outfit! I layered some tights and high socks underneath these high waisted paper bag shorts. On top I wore this cropped long sleeve shirt with alternating transparent stripes.
The leather jacket and fold over booties give the outfit and edgy feel in contrast to the other outfit which the cardigan and fringe boots create a cozier look.

I was rockin' a dark moss green mani with a solo gold stripe to match my Metallic Tattoos. You can try this style if you are tired doing variations of the French tip. This nail design is understated, sleek, and refined, appropriate for a night out or the professional workplace setting. I also applied the metallic tattoos right underneath my collar bone as a necklace. The on on my chest definitely lasts longer than the ones on my wrists.
I hope your Thanksgiving was full of all the good things that matter! Now we are into that long haul to Christmas. Goodbye long weekends! Hang in there, guys.
