All Tatt'd Up

I finally found a way to look unnecessarily fabulous 24/7! HOW you ask? METALLIC TATTOOS! Yes girl! You can look like you have your blingy jewelry on while you’re pumpin’ iron, cleaning the car, picking up dog poop, showering…you just leveled up on your DIVA status! And the best part is it's EFFORTLESS!

Things you need to know:

- They last anywhere between 1-6 days depending on where you place them.

- High friction areas = wear off, low friction areas = last longer

- Areas of skin that are constantly stretching (like your joints) will decrease the longevity

- Oil/oil-based products will decrease longevity

- Soap will not affect the longevity once tattoo is secure

- Scrubbing will remove the tattoo

- If you are a picker, just don’t even try these because as they wear, the areas that are "wearing off" lift from the skin which will make it VERY tempting for you.

To Apply

It’s super easy to apply.  Just like those cartoony temporary tattoos you used to cover yourselves in as a kid.  Except this time you look sexier. HEYYYYYYY!  You can create almost any look by applying them to different parts of the body and by combining different patterns.

Cut the tattoo from the sheet.  Measure your wrist and at the ends where it’s going to meet, try and cut as close as possible to the edge.  This is to help you line it up properly.

Make sure your skin is clean of any residue and dry.  Peel off the clear protective film and lay the tattoo face-down on your skin.  You can adjust it to make sure it is lined up properly.

Take a wet sponge or paper towel and rest it on top of the tattoo backing.  Wait a few minutes.  Make sure you keep it steady so the tattoo transfers without bunching. You will see the tattoo release from the backing.  At this point you can peel the backing off.  You can lightly dab the tattoo to dry.

This is what it looks like on Day 5.  You see there is some wearing and peeling underneath.  I work at a computer daily so underneath my wrists as constantly rubbing on the desk. But the top seems to be holding up very well considering I shower and moisturize every day. Just remember not to pick them off once a section starts to lift.  Generally speaking, the tattoo won't unravel at this point, so just leave it alone.

Loves

It’s an awesome statement you can take from work to the club. I love that it is highly customizable so you can get real creative and stick them on in any design or pattern you would like. It is a true metallic finish with high shine.  It’s very eye-catching and cuts down on your getting ready time. haha!

Not-Loves

You will have to do a couple tries to get the application process right so you can end up wasting some of your favorite designs.  There are already set patterns on one sheet.  So I end up liking some pieces and not the others. I also don't need ANOTHER thing to get addicted to.

The Verdict

I will purchase these again because it’s SO me as I am BOTH chic and badass! PLUS it makes me look like a goddess 24 hours a day. It's also hella easy to apply. This is a great option for when you are travelling. So if you are looking to amp up your everyday look, you really need to give this a try!!
