Capsule Wardrobe: Holiday Travel

Sparkle! Snuggle! Dash, munch, and toast! The Holiday Season is always such joyful chaos! This time of year can be so unpredictable, parties and gatherings can pop up at a moment's notice. Between the events, you are running errands. And the time at home is spent catching up with loved ones while sipping on warm drinks and whipping up baked goods. As Christmas approaches, many of us will be making the journey to our loved ones. Creating your Holiday Capsule Wardrobe will require a little more creativity to ensure you are appropriately dressed for everything.
With presents in tow and baggage weight restrictions in full effect, I’m sure you are trying to minimize your personal belongings to make more space! So, the capsule wardrobe I have created will to take you from swingin’ party to the cozy fireside!
Outfit essentials for Christmas Eve to New Years Day

In addition to the capsule wardrobe basics, remember to choose comfortable clothing in preparation for all the eating your will be doing! It will also be worth bringing a pair of fancy heels. Something as quick as a change of a shoe or adding a necklace can change the feel of your whole outfit.

For the most part, I don’t wear skirts too much in the winter as I do not want my ass to freeze. But if you do enjoy a good frock, you can sub in a skirt or a dress in place of the fancy legging. And maybe bring some stockings in case it gets extra chilly.

For errand-running and casual meet-ups, layering knits and flannel are comfortable and warm! Leggings are perfect with boots of any height and under any type of top.

Casual combos

For nights (or days) requiring a little glitz and glam, gather your statement pieces! I chose metallic heel and clutch because it matches EVERYTHING and the extra luster oozes with Christmas Spirit!

Cozy knits and comfy pants are ideal for cuddling up fireside. And what Christmas morning would be complete without Christmas jammies?!

I hope my wardrobe has inspired you to take and create some innovative and comfy outfits! Wherever your Holidays take you, may you have a safe and peaceful one!

Happy travels!
